The Service Charter

The Service Charter is a document which outlines the commitments undertaken by the Archive’s Administration to provide services to its visitors. These are decided on the basis of certain standards developed at a general-level, which include services such as public access to the Reading Room during opening hours, access to reference tools, the distribution of archival documents (bound volumes or loose pages), information about photographic reproduction and more. If a visitor is unsatisfied, they have the right to express their opinion and eventually to receive compensation for the disruption they have experienced.

This agreement is updated every two years, but a continuous staff-shortage can in some periods prevent previously declared engagements from always being punctually respected: however we will do everything in our power to ensure minimal inconvenience to our visitors.
