The Archive is housed in the 14th century building built by the merchant Francesco di Marco Datini, which hosts a ground floor museum managed by the Casa Pia dei Ceppi Foundation.
The tour guides visitors through the rooms at the first floor (the large conference hall and study room) and to the temporary exhibitions.
It is also possible to include archival documents in the tour, subject to agreement with the Archive staff.
The visits, conducted by the Archive staff, are free.
